Designed for children 18 months and older, the book features colorfully illustrated Mickey Mouse scenes along with the lyrics and sheet music of a familiar song on each two-page spread.
Mickey Mouse s Play and Learn Piano Songs teaches children how to play a song by matching the colored letter beneath each musical note in the sheet music with the piano key labeled with the same-color letter. If the label is below a white key, kids press that white key; if it is above a black key, they press that black key. Printed lyrics enable children to sing along to the music. Each page is displayed horizontally, enabling children to see the open pages directly over the piano keys. The book lies flat when open, keeping children s hands free to play the keyboard.

I bought this for my two year old and its a little advanced for her right now. I find myself playing it for her and its pretty fun. Once you learn the differences in the colors, some are very close, you can play the songs pretty well. Once she learns how, she will love to use this keyboard.Product details

The 5 and 7 year olds we purchased this for have a good time picking out the music and it encourages early keyboard skills.
My daughter received this as a 1st birthday gift and plays with it daily. Any child who comes to our house loves it as well!
Got for my 4 year old niece and she loves it! Helps that its song she knows. She more less just jams on the piano and at this age is too young to actually play the songs but as she grows certain she will be able too.
Is a noisy toy!
I ordered this book for my son, thinking he'd enjoy playing/hitting the keys, however, the sound is horrible. Had I known that I would have skipped ordering this product!
I was so excited to give this to my son for Christmas, among other presents, and when I received it, it didn't work. I tried replacing the batteries, but still was unable to work. Was disappointed.
We just got this in the mail for my daughter's birthday and already there are at least 3 keys that do not work. So frustrating! I'm on the fence about sending it back or just seeing how she likes it with it's defective keyboard.
We had a previous version of this book (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Piano Sound Book Mickey's Piano Party) that had three functions played a tune, lit up the notes so the child could play the tune, and then functioned just a keyboard for the child to play anything. This "updated" version is just a keyboard with color-coded music to play the songs. That's fine if it's what you are looking for, but I found several other books that do the same thing. What I really wanted was the older version, which is still available on . Look for a similar book with only nine "keys" across the bottom (no black keys). There's one for Elmo, Dora, princesses, Pooh, Hello Kitty, etc., but many of them are only available used. The older version is much better for teaching children to play and also good for younger ages. This book is really more for 5 years and up.
